Your privacy
This page explains what information Crag Core Vault collects when you visit this site or write to us, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we never sell or trade anything.
Information we receive
We only ever hold what you hand us yourself: the details in an enquiry, an email address to reply to, and the correspondence that follows. There is no account system and no hidden profile.
How we use it
Your details are used for exactly one thing: answering you and handling whatever you asked about. We do not add you to mailing lists you did not ask for, and we do not share your details with advertisers.
Cookies on this site
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a small flag remembering that you closed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. You can remove it at any time through your browser settings.
Who else sees your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. It is disclosed only if the law obliges us to, and to no one else.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed to handle your matter and any follow-up, after which it is deleted. Records we are legally required to keep are kept for the statutory period and no longer.
What you can ask of us
Access, correction, deletion, and objection to any use — all of these are yours to request, free of charge. One message through the contact page is enough.
Security
What little we hold is stored on access-controlled systems and is not accessible to anyone outside the business.
Who to ask
The data controller for this site is Crag Core Vault. Anything unclear in this policy — write to us and a person will answer.
Where your data lives
Your messages sit on hosting infrastructure, not on a spreadsheet on someone's laptop. We don't run our own servers or maintain a separate mailing database — the enquiry you send stays exactly where you sent it, and nowhere else.
If something goes wrong
Because we hold so little to begin with, the practical risk here is small. But if we ever became aware that an enquiry or its contents had been accessed without authorisation, we would tell you directly and without unnecessary delay.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle your data ever changes in a way that matters, this page will change with it — the date at the top will move, and if the change is significant we'll say so plainly rather than bury it in legal phrasing.
Children
This site is written for adults and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under the age typically required to enter into a contract in their own country.
The newsletter specifically
Subscribing to the weekly email means we hold your address for exactly that purpose. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately — no login, no confirmation step, no "are you sure."
Photos and image credits
Photos used to illustrate outfit and wardrobe posts are sourced for editorial use and are not connected to any individual's personal data beyond what's visible in the image itself. If you believe an image has been used incorrectly, get in touch and we'll look into it promptly.
One more thing
We built this page to actually be read, not skimmed past. If any part of it left you with a question instead of an answer, that's on us to fix — say so through the contact page and we'll clarify or correct it. Plain language, short sentences, no legalese for its own sake — that's the same standard we hold our outfit guides to, and it applies here too.
